Would you like to sculpt your own Gromit? Bet you don't really know
what's
involved! Now you have a chance to find out. From 14th February,
Explore-At-Bristol will feature an exhibition from the Aardman Studio,
'Aardman-At-Bristol' will give you a 'backstage pass' to how the studio
make
their films. From conception and storyboards to set design, to a display
that
reveals the secrets behind how Gromit is actually constructed.

As well as an insight into how Aardman create many of their characters
you'll be
able to see how the construction of our models has changed from the
early days
of Morph, to the sophistication of Wallace and Gromit and the stars of
Chicken
Run. Along with Gromit's original bedroom set from The Wrong Trousers,
you'll
see Mrs Tweedy's actual and
original pie machine featured in Chicken Run, this machine took over 18
months
to design and construct. We've also made a film, especially for this
exhibition
featuring highlights of the studios award winning films, behind the
scenes
footage and interviews with the creators.

The exhibition opens on February 14th, conveniently encompassing half
term.
