There was one a few months ago (it was sponsored by Toony town), but nobody used it. And as you can see, this one is not precisely what you would call "very active"...
Cheers,
Carlos

To Carlos:
Yep. I believe the forum is not very active because of CTP being very specific only for calssic 2d animators, and not for anyone else (like Flash or other populistic soft). But at least Crater Software gives the link to this forum, and as I see - Carlos have responded quite quickly - it means something.

Question!
Anyway - I`ll ask my question here in English - I have a problem scanning coloured drawings in CTP. It`s scanner interface doesnt let make any adjustments to the color images, so that it becomes totally impossible to scan the drawings as I want them to be scanned. That makes the option of scanning RGB color images useless and I have to scan in other software.
So is there any way to tune the scanner form within CTP? any plugin, or some driver issues, that dont let me do that? Maby there are some scanners, that CTP accepts better?

Hi Soom,
indeed, CTP is a software for professionals. Anyway, Crater has neglected both CTP and this forum as well. The link on CTP´s website is indeed not hard to find, as well as lots of outdated information about the software, the site has not been updated for a long long time now...

About your question: no, you cannot change settings from within CTP when you scan in images. CTP uses your TWAIN driver and opens up its own scanning module. If you do not find any settings on that module, then all adjustments you may dream of are a no-go.
Good suggestion for Crater´s development team -if there´s still one to consider your requests-, I´d say go ahead and tell them what you´d like to have for future upgrades.
Good luck,
Carlos

Actually CTP opens its own scanner interface and not my twain driver. it uses the twain driver to make the scanner work. and also the interface is good and there are enought controlls for black&white scanning, but not for color.
Ok , I understood, that I cannot adjust the color scaning, so that means, that scanning RGB images in CTP is totally unuseful...

OK pal, I said CTP USES your twain driver meaning exactly that it does so to make your scanner work, you follow me?, and then it opens up its own scanning module, which you prefer to call scanning interface, OK now??? We can also say that it does not open up a scanning module or interface, but that it starts a scanning module or interface, whichever word you like the best icon_wink.gif Or else: learn Spanish! icon_lol.gif
And yes, it is true: you cannot adjust colour scanning within the scanning interface, which is exactly what I said, and which does NOT precisely make scanning RGB images with CTP totally useless, especially because of the fact that you have some picture adjustment controls (bottom right) when your picture is loaded onto the X-sheet itself. If those adjustments are not satisfactory enough -which could well be the case- and if you prefer to change picture settings from within the scanning interface itself, then yes: you have to scan colour images with a third party software you might find suitable for this purpose. Third party sofware means: some software other than CTP. Good luck.
