CONDICIONES GENERALES
A) El Festival se desarrollará en el club La Boca del Lobo, c/ Echegaray 11 de Madrid del 20 al 29 de Octubre de 2004 y podrán participar en él realizadores de cine de todo el mundo.

B) Se establecen TRES CATEGORÍAS COMPETITIVAS:
1ª - Cortometrajes de ficción con una duración máxima de 25 minutos, que hayan sido rodados en 35 o 16 mm., grabados en video o cualquier otro formato digital y cuyo director sea de nacionalidad española, o bien, que su producción y realización se hayan realizado íntegramente dentro de cualquiera de nuestras Comunidades Autónomas.
2ª - Cortometrajes de ficción con una duración máxima de 25 minutos que hayan sido rodados en 35 o 16 mm., grabados en video o cualquier otro formato digital y cuya dirección, realización y producción sea extranjera. Será condición imprescindible que los cortometrajes estén subtitulados al castellano y que la cinta enviada para su selección sea, ambos en sistema PAL, o bien en DVD
3ª - Cortometrajes de Animación con una duración máxima de 25 minutos que hayan sido rodados en 35 o 16 mm., grabados en formato de video o creados por ordenador, por directores de cualquier nacionalidad y sea cual sea el país de producción.

C) Los trabajos deben haber terminado su producción después del uno de Enero de 2003.

D) Todos los cortometrajes seleccionados se proyectarán exclusivamente en sistema VHS o DVD. Por lo que os rogamos que las cintas o DVD que enviéis tengan una buena calidad de imagen y sonido.

E) La inscripción se realizará enviando una cinta VHS (PAL) o un DVD a la organización antes del 13 de Septiembre junto con la ficha de inscripción y una fotografía del cortometraje, indicando claramente la categoría en la que se inscribe ( 1ª, 2ª, 3ª). Podéis mandar vuestra inscripción por E-mail a: festival@labocadellobo.com

F) Los VHS o DVD enviados de los cortometrajes permanecerán en poder de la organización. A no ser que sean reclamadas por el autor, el cual correrá con los gastos de envío.

G) Todos aquellos cortometrajes cuyos diálogos originales no estén en castellano deberán estar subtitulados en dicho idioma. Si no es así serán rechazados.

H) Las obras serán seleccionadas por un Comité de la Organización, el cual, notificará el resultado de la selección antes del 10 de Octubre.

I) La Organización acordará la fecha y orden de exhibición de las películas, comprometiéndose a proyectarlas solamente dentro del Festival de Cortometrajes “La Boca del Lobo” y del Festival Itinerante.

J) El Jurado Oficial, compuesto por profesionales del medio cinematográfico, la cultura y la comunicación será el encargado de otorgar los premios. Los premios otorgados serán para el Director.

K) Las decisiones, tanto del comité de Selección como del Jurado Oficial, serán inapelables.

M) La inscripción implica la aceptación de todas las bases.

Premios. Se otorgarán los siguientes premios*:

Mejor Cortometraje Nacional (2000€)
Mejor Guión (1000€)
Mejor Cortometraje de Animación (1000€)
Mejor Cortometraje Extranjero (1000€)

*Los impuestos correspondientes serán descontados de los premios

GENERAL CONDITIONS

A) The seventh edition of the “La Boca del Lobo” Short Film Festival will take place in said club October 20-29, 2004. La Boca del Lobo is located at 11 Echegaray St., Madrid. The contest is open to directors of any nationality.

B) We have established THREE COMPETITIVE CATEGORIES:
1ª - Fictional short films with a maximum duration of 25 minutes, including credits, that have been shot in 35mm, 16 mm, video, or any digital format, whose director is of Spanish origin, or whose production has been realized completely in Spain.
2ª - Fictional short films with a maximum duration of 25 minutes, including credits, that have been shot in 35mm, 16 mm, video, or any digital format, whose director is NOT Spanish, and whose production has NOT been realized in Spain. All films submitted MUST be subtitled in Spanish or it will not be accepted. If selected, the film MUST be sent in VHS PAL or DVD PAL.
3ª - Animation short films with a maximum duration of 25 minutes that have been shot on 35 or 16mm, video or computer-generated by directors of any nationality, regardless of the country of production.

C) All films must have been completed after January 1, 2003.

D) All short films selected will be screened exclusively with a VHS PAL system or DVD. We ask that the tapes or DVDs sent have the best quality sound and image possible.

E) To participate in the selection process, you must send a VHS tape (PAL) or a DVD to the organization address before September 13, 2004, with the inscription form and a still photo from the film. Each tape must contain only one short film or video, and you must indicate clearly which category you wish to enter (1st, 2nd, 3rd). You may send in your inscription form via email to: festival@labocadellobo.com

F) The VHS copies of the selected entries will be retained by the organization, unless reclaimed by the author, who will cover return shipping costs.

G) All films whose original dialogue is not in Spanish must be subtitled in said language. Otherwise it will be automatically disqualified.

H) A Committee appointed by the organization will select the films. This committee will notify the results of the selection by October 10, 2004.

I) The organization will set the times and dates of the screenings, committing ourselves to showing the films only during the Seventh Annual “La Boca del Lobo” Short Film Festival and the Itinerant Festival.

J) The Official Judges, composed of professionals in the film industry, will be in charge of awarding the prizes. These will go to the Director.

K) All decisions made by the Selection Committee and the Official Judges are unappealable.

L) Your inscription implies the acceptance of all these General Conditions.

Prizes. The following prizes will be awarded*:

Best National Short Film (2000€)
Best Animation Short Film (1000€)
Best Foreign Short Film (1000€)
Best Screenplay (1000€)

*All corresponding taxes will be subtracted from the prizes

We invite you to participate in the “LA BOCA DEL LOBO” Itinerant Festival.

This project consists of taking our Festival out of Madrid and into alternative venues in different cities or countries where the short film genre has no representation, but only with the condition that the integrity of the Festival be respected.
