EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

June 2001- to date - 3D Films -3D Artist
A great first opportunity to begin my career within the industry working for a company that specialises in creative design and character based 2D and 3D animations for television, film and games.
Within this role I utilise my knowledge of Softimage and 3D Max primarily.

Key Achievement
Within two months of joining this company, I was promoted to the team handling the most important project in the company. This was not only due to my knowledge of Softimage but also my focus and determination in getting the job done. This often involved working very long hours and on occasion throughout the night.
Projects:
-Apocalyptica. ( 3d Studio Max, Premiere, PhotoShop, PC, X-box video game, for October- 24- 2003 ).
Level modeling, character modeling, character and environment animation, lighting, sound and FX and editing movies.

February 2001- June 2001 - Freelancer

Whilst actively looking for my first role within the 3D animation industry, I completed some freelance work for two clients, Shepherd Day Associates and the St Lucia Connection.
This work mainly comprised of designing wireframes and I also completed an architectural based project

June 2000- January 2001- Training - Media Arts production

Media Arts Production Facilities are a computer graphics and animation training company.
The focus of this seven-month course was to learn 3D Studio Max 3-4, Photoshop 5.5-6, Premiere 5.1, and character Studio 2-3. A completed project in the form of a show reel primarily using Max was expected at the end. A grueling full time course, but extremely valuable.

September 1999 - June 2000 - The Circle Spa - Gym. Duty Manager

Following my qualification through the YMCA for a fitness/Gym instructor I was selected for the role of Duty Manager for this city based fitness centre. The position involved coaching clients on a one: one basis and the management of instructors and centre. I shared the duty manager role with 2 others.


1996-1999 - Temporary
Following my arrival in the UK in 1996, I completed a number of temporary roles through employment agencies and direct to companies also. Positions held include; data input clerk for the successful IT recruitment company, Best International and gym instructor posts for Newham Leisure Centre and Redbridge Sports Centre.
